I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

Sadly, I made the huge dieters mistake of thinking of it as something with a beginning and an end and once I was no longer tracking all my food and exercise I fell back into old habits.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

Now we're starting a new year...at the end of January this Spark journey will be in it's tenth year! Have there been ups and downs? Most assuredly! But I have been consistently working toward the best me I can be. I met my weight goal on SP, regained a bit but stayed withing that old WW lifetime wt. goal. More recently, I decided I needed to reapply my focus and get the wt. down to where I want it to be. I'm following an IF plan of eating only during the hours of 10AM to 6PM. No night time eating has gotten me out of the plateau and on my way again.

She had a great time. I bought plastic eggs and put candie in the middle. Snicker bars for the older kids (11, 12, and 12 1/2) which kept them interested. My daughter was adorable in her pigtails and yellow dress. I set her eggs in the grass and made them bright colors for visiblity and she went over grabbed one opened it and sat down and ate the chocolate. My mistake was putting in three hershey kisses. She sat down and ate the three and didnt care about the others around her cause she had what she wanted already. . . I enjoyed it. She is such an amusing little girl. We are trying to get her ready for potty training. . . this morning I notice there is a chunk of the blue floam potty missing. Since Pete and I didnt eat it that just leaves Lexi. . . you cant get bored with her.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog! You are right - crowns are SOOOOO heavy to wear while running! It's good to be reminded that flexibility is a good characteristic - not my best one, so I am happy that I can do it every once in a while!
