I reached my first goal of losing 20 pounds in 2020. After weighing in today, I kept repeating my weight as 174 when in reality it is 194. Maybe I'm visualizing my next goal. Now to make it so!

My goal for 2020 is to lose 20 pounds. In 2019, I lost 30 pounds before falling off the wagon. I gained back 11 pounds, but that means I had a 19 pound loss for the year. That's a Win. Imagine where I could be in 5 years if I lost 20 pounds a year. I'd be at my goal of losing 100 pounds. Would I like to lose all the weight sooner? Of course, but if it takes me 5 years, I'd still have all the weight gone. So, I'm going to focus on losing that first 20 pounds.

"I will not feel deprived when I turn down junk food. I will feel empowered that I made the healthy choice." ~Unknown

"The more consistent you are, the quicker you will lose weight." ~Linda Spangle

"When done correctly, healthy meals can taste even better than full-fat restaurant meals." I've always known this... now it's time to get cooking and find healthy recipes.

Remember the opening song on the Mary Tyler Moor show (1999)? "You can have the town, why don't you take it. You're going to make it after all." Hat thrown in the air. That's my theme song for 2017.

Yum... I love apple crisp! It counts as a "fruit", right??🍎😁 I hope we both have a good weigh in tomorrow. I'm trying to get some of this mess off of me! How's school going? Did you end up getting rain? Friday Fun Day!🙃

Remodeling is still in progress but we're happy with what we've done. The goal was to get everything done this year but you know...Covid.

I could say I tossed a lot of stuff but I don't think I did. I moved it into storage and then slowly brought it home, as I unpacked boxes it was easy to look at things and decide it was not something we needed. I donated boxes and boxes to the hospital auxiliary. Last week I gave over 200 movies and my bluray player to a single mom.

Baby Gray is still in the hospital, we're really hoping she gets to come home tomorrow. But not likely until the weekend.

Hi Snow Queen! It's still in the 70's but in the low 50's at night, so we'll probably just use the jacuzzi. It's hard to keep the temp up when it's cool at night. We're supposed to get "rain" on Sun, but we'll see! How are you doing with eating?
