Time for Winter Fun ... It's time for slowing down, vacations, and birthdays and holidays here. Time for gathering family around bonfires or big pots of Soup. The beaches here are quieter, with just the waves and gulls, not out-of-towners. The snow might come any time now, you can see the dogs' eager anticipation. But we still might have quite a few days left, where just a cozy sweater is comfort enough out for the day.

HERE ARE MY WINTER CHALLENGE COMMITMENTS:

1- Limit Sugar, Sodium, Cholesterol - TRACK IT ALL

2- 60+ EXERCISE MINUTES PER DAY (Don't be afraid to let it be 10 mins at a time!)

3- 8+ GLASSES OF WATER OR GREEN TEA PER DAY

4- 1/2 Plate of Veggies every Meal


No Excuses - Making excuses burns ZERO Calories per hour.


My Program:
Meal Planning and Sticking to it.
Thursday - Weekly Meal Plan
Friday - Grocery List/Shopping
Sat/Sun - Batch Cooking helps.

Exercise -
I am struggling to find a good program, would love to find a consistent trainer I like, but I have some good "go to" work-outs and videos.

I am still out of town about 70% of my work days. I pack my meals to bring and use the hotel gym while I'm away.



Personal Information:
I love the beach, fishing, & gardening. I'm married to my dear husband 32 years. And we enjoy volunteering as Sunday School teachers and VBS Leaders for our church.

We have a daughter, son-in-law, and cutest 8 year-old grandson ever ;-)
And love animals, too! One dog, Freddy; 3 cats: Marie, KC, and Kitty; and a very friendly turtle, Lucky.

I work as an IT Project Manager and am often out of town for work days at a time. I do my best to plan meals and workouts that still fit into my overall plan.
