Introduction Text Hi everyone! My name is Debbie. I am 56 and I've been overweight since high school. Every year I vow to lose weight and every year I have failed. I was at my highest weight ever within the past few months and I never want to ever go back there again! I do realize that if I don't get some of this weight off, I won't be around much longer. My husband will be losing his job shortly and I was let go from mine in October. We will be moving back to San Antonio when he loses his job. We will both be without a job, no job prospects and no money coming in. I don't rate unemployment because I voluntarily left my previous job so I really got screwed from my last job. I have been on interviews since the summer and I know that my weight was probably the real reason that I didn't any of the jobs since I am way overqualified. I am willing to start at the bottom. It's probably a combination of my weight and my age that are preventing me from getting a job. I truly wish that I didn't have to work but that is truly not an option. I am so glad that I have found SparkPeople and know that with everyone's support, I will be successful and more accountable for my choices.
