    Hello and welcome to,

    I'm pretty new at this myself, but wanted to let you know that it's o.k. to just jump right in and play. It's how I have been learning my way around. So far I have encountered only splendid, encouraging and helpful people. Stop by and say hello. I hope you try isometric exercise, it's perfect for older adults, those with mobility issues, if you have chronic pain, or tire easily.     Welcome to the Celiac Disease and Gluten-Free team. I hope you've had a chance to look around and get to know us. Do us the favor of introducing yourself in our INTRO forum as well when you get the chance. I used to have GERD also - I found that eating smaller meals more often really helps - also, lots of veggies and fruits and less grains or "acid" foods (therefore, eating more alkaline is what really helps). That's just me. Hope you find your "healthy" way of eating that encourages you to stay with it. Best wishes.

    I lived in INDIANAPOLIS in 1973 and my husband helped build house in Carmel that were a horrible $50,000 each!!! LOL One was on a creek and it was $65,000 with five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths.

    He has several interviews about his book "Shrink Yourself", as he is a Psychology Professor and medical doctor at UCLA School of Medicine. His book deals with EMOTIONAL EATING and why we binge and why we gain the weight back again. The YouTube interview gives an explanation of his book. I'm really getting a lot from reading his book and everything helps in this struggle.
