Are you interested in a Challenge?

The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge. To get to the Challenge go to my page and click on the Blue Biggest Loser Icon, copy and paste the link below, or let me know and I can send you an invite. Join the Team then sign up on the waitlist. It’s the thread right below the Frosted Fitness Fun Chit Thread.

Welcome to Living Binge Free, where we concentrate more on livable eating habits and adjusting day by week by month by year rather than on weight loss, though that's welcome, too. But that has to be a by product of a sustainable life. Who hasn't done severe routines and lost, only to obey the compulsion to return to old habits? Our members have all kinds of eating plans, but we lean towards not going the traditional diet or even calorie limit route, as there are so many teams for that, and few that emphasize just developing routines of honest, sane meals over time.

The most important lesson to learn is the paradox that there is NOTHING that can MAKE us binge (though there may be some compulsive overeating), and simultaneously that SOME bingeing can happen while we are actually making excellent (or even mediocre) progress. It CAN be all or nothing, but it doesn't HAVE to be.

Now if a person has actual health problems, her timeline for new habits might need to be speeded up, but if she really faces them, keeping the payoff front and center can do a lot to counteract the compulsions to deviate from a healing routine of eating. She may need to be on a team with that focus as well, and she is free to start a special thread for that with us, too.

I'm awed by your maintenance of a respectable loss of weight. You are beating the odds right this minute!

We'd love to be part of your participation on Spark! You have SO much to offer.
