I'm glad to hear all the great changes you're making. Have you and your weightloss doctor discussed a plan for after you stop taking the pills? With prescription weight loss pills, the hunger always comes back tenfold, and even with a closely monitored weight loss doctor and a plan for after, I still ended up losing control and gained back pounds after I stopped taking them. The cravings were SO intense. This was back in the day, but it still kind of scars me. But you're strong, you can do this.

Also be mindful that many of our food issues come from within, and I think that's SO important. I've started seeing a nutritional therapist biweekly, and it's really opened up my eyes about what's actually behind my yo-yo eating habits. I really recommend, I think it'll help me never yo-yo again!

Zach and I have finally gotten on a consistent path of eating healthy, except for our once a week bad meal. When he leaves in 3 weeks (for another 9 month rotation), I have no doubt that eating out will lower down SIGNIFICANTLY, probably to only once a month instead of once a week so that I can concentrate on paying off my student loans faster. I never bring anything unhealthy to work nor do I keep it in the house anymore. For work today, I've brought homemade veggie soup, an apple, and a yogurt with 5 frozen strawberries, and I have a 100 calorie granola bar for right after work since I have therapy. Tonight Zach and I are having shredded chicken with lightly drizzled lite cream sauce and broccoli with Jack Daniels peppercorn seasoning, one of our favorite dinners.

We can do this girl, it just takes consistency. Keep me updated on your progress! emoticon

Hey there! I really appreciate your kind words, thank you! I've been a little down accepting the fact that I was once only 13 pounds away from my goal in July, but because I didn't lose weight THE RIGHT WAY, I am now 30 pounds away from it. GETTING HEALTHY IS HARD!

Proud of you for taking the necessary steps, but please be careful with the weightloss pills. At one point in my life I had gotten to my goal with Adipex, but because I didn't lose weight naturally or learn the correct path, I eventually gained it back and then some (hence my previous 215 weight). Just a thought.

Now I'm taking a state program called Naturally Slim and I'm loving it so far. It's teaching me that I CAN eat what I want, but it's all about HOW I eat that's been causing my weight issues. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

I hope you're doing well! What else is new in your life?!

Yes, we got married 10-07-16! And goodness, be careful with a diet that strict. You may lose a lot of weight, but be careful when weaning off, you could gain it back faster. That's what happened with my last diet fad, I lost 20 pounds, and then I gained it all back faster than I had gained it the first time. No more fad diets for me, I did it the old fashioned way for a few months before I left for Kansas. The move kind of threw a wrench in things though. I wish you the best of luck! And congrats with moving on to your Masters. That's so awesome!

Thank you for your comment. Your new diet sounds extremely depriving, how long have you been doing it for? Right now I’m trying to find motivation again. My husband and I moved to Kansas a month ago, and adjusting has been difficult.

I've had some rough times, but I'm back to get my life back together. Thank you for all the times you commented and messaged me; I just came back and read them all. I feel like an awful person for never contacting you, but I was on a rocky path. I hope you are doing well.
