Went for a small walk this morning. This fence is very popular in our area!! I live on the harbor and it's so appropriate that he created this. I'm now week 5 of bad pain in my gut. Yesterday tests were done, hoping to hear tomorrow what they showed, but there's NO WAY even in this pain I am staying inside!! It's going to hurt any ways, I did though go gently on my body. Now resting. Such a PRETTY DAY!! If you are able please go outside no matter how you feel.

can you fit in one leg of those pants you wore ever so long ago? So glad you are getting back to the job you love. Strangely enough I so enjoyed being a waitress..it was fun most of the time and there were regulars that would come in and stand till they got to sit in my section.
Get your rest..you know you need to..I can lecture you..I am an RN!! so there!
    Nite kiddo!! emoticon

No, no one really holds a car wash event in Jan, Feb, or Mar do they? Maybe in AZ.

You had me laughing at your experience of a Step Monster's funeral. Especially the part about having to act sad but actually holding back High Fives! Sounds like your Mom stuck with him to the end but was glad he was finally gone too. I remember in AZ each year we would be inundated with Snowbirds for the winter. At the time I wasn't young (moved 6 years ago) but some (especially men) were so mean and sour, that I wanted to tell them (but didn't), why don't you just go ahead and die now you are so miserable. I promised myself never to be like that. Actually I love talking to strangers in the stores and saying nice things, like I love your shirt, or hair or whatever.

Hi Diane - As usual I haven't been keeping up with my SP and just saw your post from a couple of weeks ago plus a pile of birthday wishes - from three weeks ago! emoticon on getting the job! Hope that the training is going well and you are adjusting to the chemo cream again. I've had a pretty quiet month here - aside from the challenge of course. You managed to best us in Week 1 but we managed to sneak ahead of the Dawgs in week 2. We'll see how this week shakes out! Now to beat those emoticon too!
Cold is all gone ages ago but the kids didn't want to catch it so didn't come up for my birthday. They did come for Thanksgiving last Sunday just for the day and for dinner of course. I found a good vegetarian casserole to make for our son and his GF and they had LOTS to take home. MAMACAIT will be heading back to work in a couple of weeks as they are recalling all the remaining furloughed TTC workers so she's happy about that. She did not come back for the fall challenge but I hope I'll be able to entice her to join us again before too long. BIL landed in hospital a couple of weeks ago with pneumonia but seems to be doing okay now and Mom is ... mom! I've' been talking to my sister once a week - gives her someone to vent to who knows what's going on. I'll be heading up there next weekend so she and her hubby can visit their son for their 50th anniversary! Hoping that my BIL's health will allow them to both get away because they need that.
Better go and get some sheets folded. Do miss you not being our CL - not that Mary Ann isn't doing a good job - but it's not the same!
Have a good week! emoticon emoticon
