I am a long-time Sparker. And I am a long time 5% Challenger! I have been a Determined Daisy for a long time.

2020 was a hard year--thankfully we didn't get sick and neither did immediate family but we have still been impacted. Now--looking ahead to a time when we can travel again, spend time with friends over coffee or dinner and be "normal"--meaning I can go back to my friends at the assisted living center.

I have been concerned about our country--I still have concerns but now have lots of HOPE for the future. I guess one of my words for 2021 is HOPE--for our country, for the world, for the vaccine to do what we want it to do.

My Goals:
to get back to 155--or even lower--and STAY THERE

to start the process of downsizing--so it won't be "do it in 2 months"

to look and feel much younger than my years!

to encourage my husband to keep running and add some other exercises.

My Program:
I have joined Get Healthy U TV and do a workout from that every day--I completed 10 calendars in 2020. I am also focused on getting 7K steps every day.

I am tracking my food and learning more about what to cook and how much! My "diet" is lots of veggies, protein and complex carbs!

Personal Information:
I live in NJ with my hubby of 41 years. I have 3 DDs.

I ran 2 5Ks in 2014--that was my goal and I met it! I did a 5K at Disney in Jan 2019--with DD1. Everyone else in my family has done a half marathon but I see no reason for ME to do that!!

Other Information:
My 3 DDs live in CA, upstate NY and Michigan--and all 3 are settled for the next while!. We are trying to decide where we will end up--NJ is NOT our retirement state.

You hang in there! You are more than halfway to your goal! I know it seems slow sometimes. . . but you can do it. You have already proved it. Stay as positive as you can and do something fun . . . just for yourself. emoticon emoticon

I saw your status and also team's huddle and I wanted to stop by and give you emoticon
I know that it is so hard to stay positive and stay on track when that (expletive) scale won't budge. But how are you doing otherwise? Do you feel you are stronger than when you began? Can you walk farther than when you started? Can you workout longer than in the beginning? And how about inches, have you lost any? The scale can be a very fickle beast, so take measure in other aspects. As you yourself said, the overall goal is to be healthier, not weight loss. And I really do know the feeling, I have been stuck for several months myself. Hang in there, we can do this and will be successful in our goals! emoticon emoticon
