Well, I finally, after many attempts let go of 42lbs since I began in earnest February 23rd. Bad blood results scared me silly and was the motivation to take back control of my health. I went SOS Vegan overnight (Salt, Oil, Sugar Free), no white anything, no animal protein, no dairy, no eggs, no soy, no corn, no gluten :-). I ate whole foods, plant based and the results are clear. It works. In all 4 months later and I am UNDER my goal weight. More importantly I dropped by AIC score from 5.7 (Pre diabetic) to 4.8 HEALTHY :-) I dropped cholesterol from 277 to 200 - Normal and thyroid is now fully functioning. No calcium in my heart and carotid artery clear. I have not always loved every day of this weight loss journey but I can tell you that I love the outcome. Feeling healthier, lighter and happier in heart, soul, body and mind that I have in a long time. I am now back into my size 6/8 clothes that I kept just in case and now adore. I weigh the same as I did in my 30's and very happy. Shopping for clothes is now a joy not a labor of misery. The 5K My Way challenge program helped me enormously to learn to run safely and without injury and I am on my second go round of the program to keep me on track and cross-training and running in the correct format. I now run 40 minutes without stopping and I never thought that was possible. I am training for my first 5K and consistently now run a 10 minute mile.... SERIOUSLY...never would have believed I could do that. Next stop is to HIKE the Half Dome at Yosemite in the spring of 2019...there is no stopping me now. The SP program sustained me many days as the kind friends, folks, stories and information is wonderful, inspiring and helpful. If I can do it - SO CAN YOU....Hugs

My Program:
I am using Yoga/Qigong to help BE in my body. I use P.A.C.E, biking and walking to burn calories; body pump twice a week (weight training); TAPPING (EFT) to reset my thinking; meditation using both guided, transcendental and Joe Dispenza's work to really enter the river of change to a FULLER and NEW me.....I juice and Nutribullet daily in some form for nutrition and healing....and of course SPARKPEOPLE :-)
