Introduction Text Height : 5' 11" Heaviest weight: 238 lbs Current Weight: 207 lbs We adopted a dog from animal rescue a couple months ago, and I have been walking her 2-3 times per day. Sometimes each walk is about 15 to 30 minutes, so it's starting to add up. I am really seeing and feeling a difference. I dropped a pant size and (unfortunately) a bra size...lol I also was really helped by Dr. Oz's tv show and then I got his book, YOU On a Diet. It really helped me think of losing weight as more how to work with my body's chemistry than something lacking in myself. First, I stopped eating anything with sugar in the first 5 ingredients. Now I do have some sugar sometimes, but I don't beat myself up over it. I also incorporated heart healthy snacks like almonds without salt, have been cutting down salt intake. I still have my chocolate cravings, but I eat only 70% cocoa chocolate. Feeling better, and the more I feel better, the more I want to do and the more the weight is dropping. I find I actually WANT to walk. My dog has gotten more fit too!

Work on getting enough protein, exercise, water. Fight eating when I feel stressed.

Walk 3x a day, about 30 minutes each time. That adds up to an hour and a half of walking every day, 10-1/2 hours of walking each week.
