Introduction Text Hi, I'm Laura. I've been with SparkPeople for about 2 years now. Boy what a difference! Previously, I was a member of a different online community, and found the support phenomenal. Unfortunately, the program was too restrictive for me to continue, and I quit. Over the next 8 months, I gained 12 pounds!! Just a little here and there, until one day (suddenly?) my pants didn't fit anymore! Then I found this site - what a Godsend!! My progress had been relatively slow, with a few bumps along the way, but I've stuck with it. With some consistency, I had lost 20 pounds! I never really thought that it was possible. I've since regained 10 pounds, but have stayed at relatively the same weight for about a year. I'm going to lose the rest of the weight forever in 2009! Thanks to everyone I've met along the way - you've helped me immensely. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

To make more meals at home more often. Drink at least 8 cups of water a day.
