I had to put one of my dogs down 2 years ago. I got him the day after I put another dog down and then had him for 9 years. He was a big baby but had an attitude which made up his personality. He lost his vision a year before he died, due to glaucoma. I had to have his eyes surgical removed because they were just too painful for him. It is a terrible disease to live with and I did what I could until the meds quit working. A year later he developed Congestive Heart Failure. He lived one month after being diagnosed and again he lasted until the meds quit working. He knew it was time and I took him in. It about killed me, but he is better off and in a better place. I hope to meet up with him again someday. Don't let my other dogs know this, but he was the best dog I ever had at this point. He was very special to me. I have his memorial stone on my pictures on my page.
