I have no medical issues that cause this, at least none that any tests have found. I went thru the process for sleeve surgery a year ago and my surgeon postponed my surgery due to my blood pressure issues. so then my insurance said all test had to be repeated in a year. they wouldnt pay and so here I am.
I can either go thru all that again or I can keep doing what I have been doing, very poorly.
My doctor doesnt care, she doesnt offer any kind of weight loss plan or offer any tests to try to find out what might be stalling my weight loss.

I have diabetes and high blood pressure too. No support from my husband. Tracking really helps because you can see what a meal does and what foods may be making your glucose go up or have too much sodium.

I may make something I can eat and take it with me tomorrow and then just pick through other things at the reunion. I was told this about diabetic lows, that once your glucose starts dropping, it may not stop, so if you have lows, you need to bring it up and check it after 15 minutes. I have never had a low, but highs have been as high as 557. I take pills, but that may be changing when I have my next lab work in August.

Thanks for reading my blog, "A Facebook image that made me smile."

I always have fun at the reunions and any damage I do, I will eat less the next day. Life is to be celebrated, not so much with food, but with family and friends and these people are family.

Thanks for the boost up, Dorreen :) I hope your family learns to be more supportive. Mine knows they have to keep all the snacks in a completely different room and some of them have to be hidden! Peanuts just went on the list today. I can't resist them when I want to nibble.
