Greetings Everyone! A little about me: I call California home, and wouldn't have it any other way - I have great skiing and beautiful Lake Tahoe 70 minutes in one direction, and the Golden Gate Bridge and beautiful beaches 90 minutes in the other direction. It doesn't get much better than that! I recently been accepted into a doctorate program and have quickly realized that it may very well be the most challenging thing I have ever taken on in my life. It is something that I know calls for balance, which is in and of itself, kind of a contradiction: Most of us that are crazy enough to enter a doctorate program in the first place probably lack a bit of balance. It calls for such a complete single-mindedness that balance becomes a 4-letter word! But I am up to it, I say: BRING IT ON!



Current Goal:

1 Lb a week until the end of the year (on average)
9/19/08: - 2.6
9/26/08: - 1.0
10/03/08 - 0.0 (yikes! Still ahead of the curve, but barely!)

My Goals:
My #1 goal is to grow old and be healthy. That is unheard of in my family, I want to break the mold. #2 goal is to build a better me. I am not into the "bikini girl" look, I am more into the "American Gladiator" look. So I am all about shedding the fat and replacing it with plenty of muscle.


My Program:
Counting fat and calories with the help of Alli. 6 days a week Cardio activity, min. 1 hr daily. + 3 days weight training. Working on getting back to my daily yoga. And squeezing in my daily water.
