    Hi Drea;
    I just came across your post to a Daily Spark Blog about noticing you are gaining weight. I could relate with your post about oddly gaining after you got married. I too, gained 35 pounds after I got married, I had lost those 35 pounds and some, however, I gained them all back, so I am back on the road to recovering my body again. Also, on your sparkpage, I am also in search of the self-sabotaging secret. I am my own worse critic and enemy, which i think is what is holding me back. I know this, but I have yet to find the formula to help me through it. Keep your head up high, we will find the right place soon enough.

    Have a "Spark" day!!

    Hey there- thanks for commenting on my blog today!

    I think a health coach could definitely help you work toward the kind of lifestyle you want to achieve and maintain.

    From my understanding, a health coach is a bit like a nutritionist, BUT less clinical. Health coaches help you work toward a healthy overall BALANCE in life, and see that no one "prescription" for eating or living works for everyone. It's all very individualized and a coach will work with you to counsel, listen, support and offer options and directions. Health coaching addresses all aspects of reaching a healthy life, including things like fitness, relationships, work, and other responsibilities. It's holistic, and aimed at targeting what will work for each individual, rather than a "one size fits all" plan, which is often prescribed by nutritionists.

    I hope that info helps! Self-sabotage is tricky... because I think to a certain degree you only self-sabotage when you're afraid of actually committing to something. When you decide you REALLY want it-- for real-- and recognize that you want to EARN it, and tackle the WORK it takes to lose weight and feel free for the first time in life-- your self-sabotaging patterns stop happening as often. We all still slip into destructive, old behaviors from time to time. But recognizing that we have the power to get back to LIVING is what keeps us going each day.

    Stay strong!

    Hey Sweetie...
    Hope you're doing OK. I know it's been hard. I would be beside myself if I lost my Little Old Man. I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you & I hope that, with time, it will get easier.
    Lots of hugs...
