I was not overweight until my forties when one day I looked in the mirror and I was shocked. I joined weight watchers and lost 35 pounds and four dress sizes in six months. Because of stress, injuries and medication I put half of it back on. In my fifties I am finding it much harder to lose weight. Now I want to get to a healthy weight and maintain.

Healthier life, lower blood pressure and decrease the acid reflux.

My Program:
 I love exercise, but I eat the wrong foods and too much. I'm aiming for portion control and one word foods (oatmeal, apple, carrots, ...)

    I appreciate your suggestion, and it's pretty much what I've told DH - that with this pandemic that's all over the world, our age, our medical stuff, we really need to find a place to stay for a while. He of course has a thousand excuses why that won't work - but we're sort of agreed that we'll stay put for the season, see what happens with the two family events that are planned for the fall, and then most likely drive to either FL or AZ, depending. Neither one of us likes cold weather, so that factors into it. But I know, we need to finally settle in one place and just prepare for his slow decline. I just don't know how to convince him of that.
