"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"

Have a great day my sparkfriend!

    Hey Emma,

Thanks so much for the blog comment, the goodie, and the grief support suggestion. You're right - she IS a member of our family (human or not), and it is breaking my heart. I just pray that I'll be wise enough to figure out when enough is enough. DH has had many dogs, and is sure we'll know when she's ready, but I'm not so certain. But, in the meantime, I appreciate the support and friendship. So glad you're back!

In my entire 59 years (almost), I was never thin in my memory. I saw a picture of me about 3rd grade and then in 4th and I had blown up like a balloon in the 4th grade. Long story short - my mother had returned to working and while everyone thought it was emotional, it wasn't. My dad and older sisters were always cooking pasta and making garlic bread. Add to this all the pastries brought home by Mom & Dad from their work places - I never had a chance.

If at the ripe old age of 56-58 I could get rid of this excess weight, one day at a time, it means anyone can. But it did take dedication, determination and commitment - a true desire to take off the weight.

When the timing is right - you will find your program and stay with it. For me it was the fear of heart attack and/or stroke. I never dreamed I could go below 150 - I was trying for 165!

    The rest is just Sparking.

You cannot fail unless you give up.

    Love you,
    Linda

P.S. Thank you for the Pinata! Party time for sure!
