Introduction Text I am now a 48-year-old mom to a wonderful 11-year-old boy who likes to run too. I'm now in my second year of remission from Graves disease without surgery or radiation. I got lucky! I've got 6 half marathons done and am now training for my first full marathon this December. I believe the secret to good health starts with a good attitude, clean food, and exercise. With these in place any and all therapy for chronic conditions will work best.

Originally from San Francisco, I now live in the Sacramento Valley and have finally found my niche in my new life as a home mom. Now It's time to take care of me.

I love science fiction, sci-fi fantasy, old movies, music and reading. I enjoy listening to audio books so I can "read with my ears" as I drive, work out, Geocache, or just doing things around the house.
