    We used a few recipes from skinnytaste - buffalo chicken dip, black bean dip, a feta/yogurt dip. I made spanish meatballs with 96^ lean ground beef and a garlicky shrimp dip with lowfat creamcheese and part skim mozzarella.

    Hi Jojo....I've been MIA for a bit, trying to get my ducks in a row over the Holiday Season. I had my kids and their families here for multiple meals...I'm all cooked out!!

    As for my diet...I left WW, and no I'm no longer counting points. I am counting carbs (keeping it under 20 which is what you do when you want to lose weight) and calories (keeping them around 1000, give or take a couple hundred) I'm making sure my fat intake is twice my protein. I eat a lot of chicken (with skin!), eggs, pork loin, sausage, bacon, mayo and butter. I usually make a mayo based dip to have with meat or make chicken or egg salad so I get my fats in. My carbs are usually from veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage (roasted, fried in butter or shredded in slaw), Brussels Sprouts and asparagus (not so often now since it's no longer in season). My "treats" are dill pickles, cheese (not too much nor too often), black olives and green olives. Sometimes I'll have a few almonds or pecans. I've been known to toss a few (like 5-6) blackberries in some home made whipped cream with a few chopped nuts for a "dessert". Yummy! I've added unsweetened cocoa and Splenda to the whipped cream a couple of times for some extra flavor. I know I'm not supposed to have the sweetener, but I've allowed it back into my diet in very limited amounts...and only once a month or less.

    I so understand the about the feeling of wasting money on WW. I spent much more on other weight loss snake oil promises and gotten less.
