    Hi!

    I am on one of you 5K teams I noticed post you made a few weeks ago (someone commented on it today bringing the thread back up) and I wondered how you were doing on your 5K training.

    I had a few things I wanted to offer, if you were interested. Some tips that really helped me as I was going through the beginning (I'm in week 3 of a hybrid program).

    Girl dont feel bad I am a slow runner jogger too. I believe in strenght and doing a personal best.. we can do it.. one day at a time.. keep up the good work

    Hi. Thanks for the comment. Regarding the Wii board, it is pricey but Will Fit Plus got me really going. There are so many low impact, beginner activities ... I just kept moving each day I used it. The board really helped in that regard. I never used Wii Fit w/o the board so I'm not sure how helpful it will be.

    I moved on to EA Sports Fit which doesn't require a board, but slacked off so I went back to the beginning and used the Wii Fit Plus to regain momentum.

    So, there are plenty of things you can do without the board but if you can afford it and plan to use Fit Plus, it is a good investment.
