As someone who has struggled with body image issues, identity issues, and weight my whole life, I feel like I have finally found a sound balance to each component of who I am. Though we're all always works in progress, I feel like I understand who I am and who I want to be in this world!

Finding that has had a huge impact on attacking this never-ending battle of emotional eating, self-doubt, and dwindling motivation.

I started with Spark in 2010, but strayed after an initial bout of weight-loss. I can hear myself saying, "Oh, I've got this now.. I can keep it up." While I haven't gained back all my weight, I'm seeing the scale creep, and I never made it to my ultimate goals!

I'm back with a vengeance, and looking to others for that extra kick in the behind to keep me motivated in times when it's wavering and hold me accountable when I can find it within myself.

Fitness Minutes: 9,626

My Goals:
Goal 1: Reach the 150-160lb range.

Goal 2: Run 1 mile without stopping.

Goal 3: Run a 5K.

Goal 4: Build the physique I have always wanted.


My Program:
Food:
- A pseudo-paleo diet--with complex carbs coming from whole wheats and grains.
- Home prepared meals for 60-75% of the week

Cardio
- Micro-runs to get me to Goal 2.
- Once Goal 2 is achieved, transitioning to a 5k training program.

Strength
- Focusing on upper body and core strength.

    Thank you so much for your comment, it's definitely alright you added me! :) I try to remind myself to stay positive, sometimes it's hard, but when it comes down to it, I have to do it. Thanks for reminding me to try to kill the stress w/activity, sometimes I forget that I can do that, I think I'm going to hop on the wii for a while since it's dark outside. I haven't used that thing in a while, it'll be a nice distraction. :)
