Introduction Text Breakin' faces and takin' names! I play roller derby and wouldn't trade the sport in for anything! My ultimate goal is to some day play in the WFTDA roller derby championship tournament. My favorite quote is "Do your better than best, never let it rest, until your good is better than best." Some of the people that I find inspiring are Lucy Deuce of the Oklahoma Victory Dolls, Erin Latham, Moira Redcorn, My sister Cori, as well as my Mother and Father. Here is why they are inspiring: Lucy Deuce is one smart cookie and a no BS type person. She is true to herself and to her team. She works hard on and off the track to be the best skater. She is constantly learning and taking advantage of extra practice opportunities. She has been a very good friend and is a very trust worthy person. Erin Latham is the kindest person you will ever meet. She puts other people first and helps anyone and everyone who needs it. She is very goal oriented and doesn't stop untill she reaches her goals. Erin has traveled the world solo and put herself out there as an artist and an all around genuine person. Her artwork is beautiful and she keeps progressing as an artist. Moira Redcorn is an all around incredible athlete! She picked up the game of roller derby faster than I've ever seen anyone pick it up. She's a strong person and pushes herself. Nothing can hold Moira back. She's an awesome motivator and a positive influence on everyone around her. If she says she's going to do something, she does it and doesn't waste any time getting on it! My sister is a go getter and a social butterfly. She's very honest with people and tells people how it is! She's a hard worker and a very reliable person. She is also a very passionate person and keeps her family very close to her heart. My Mother and Father have both consistantly been inspiring my entire life. They've been through it all and have come out strong! If life gives them a problem, not only are they quick to handle it, they learn from it and always end up with positive results in the end.

Short term goals: 1. lose 25 pounds bu August 12, 2010 2. Quit drinking soda 3. Learn to control my anxiety and emotional outbursts Long term goals: 1. Keep the weight off while staying in shape and healthy 2. Skate for the Emerald City Travel Team 3. Skate in at least ONE WFTDA tournament

Work out with the rugby team once a week. Do a minimum of 2 skating practices a week. Ride my bike every day (because that's what I already rely on for transportation!)

My real name is Lauren and I'm trying to turn my life around. I want to live a healthier lifestyle and enjoy being healthy. I have 2 beautiful dogs and an amazing boyfriend. I am currently in a transition, moving halfway across the country, and have never been more terrified of living somewhere else other than my hometown!

I really enjoy roller derby. It's my life! I want to take my derby career as far as humanly possible. I've been excited about this sport since the second I saw my first episode of A&E's "Rollergirls" 4 years ago! I've been playing since the beginning of 2007.
