You can probably tell from my blog entries that I like... no LOVE food! There's nothing quite as calming to me as the simple act of chopping an onion. Cooking is my zen. I don't believe in extreme low fat/ no fat anything. I do believe in "everything in moderation."

My Goals:
For 2012:
More energy! I'd like to eventually build up to 60 minutes of cardio 6 days a week and 20 minutes of strength training 4 days a week.
Run my first 5k (in 25 minutes)
Increase my overall strength
My Program:
A mishmash of the following:
My Elliptical (Pro Form XP 520 Razor)
Insanity
Weight training
Bodyrock.tv
Running
Tracking what I eat
I'm still working out a set plan but the basics are I am shooting for 6 days of of at least 30 minutes of cardio and at least 3 days of some kind of strength training.
Got a suggestion for me? I'd love to hear it! I'm new to strength training and need all the help I can get!

* I like the idea of Yoga but found it to be too slow when I tried it.
* I was raw vegan for an entire year just to see if I could.
