"Please allow me to introduce myself..."
Greetings: I'm from the Great Lakes State or as most of you may know it, Michigan. I share a home with my widowed mother and two adorable cats, Gus and Beanie aka 'the boys'.

I began my weight loss jouney in February of 2010. I was having difficulty doing every day things such as walking and going up and down the stairs. I was finally honest with myself and stopped denying the fact that if I didn't do something drastic about my health my problems would only get worse. I watched my mother lose the majority of her mobility and didn't want the same fate for myself. If I couldn't move, and I lived with my mother, who would take care of us? It was time for me to take control of my life.
As of September 2011, I have lost a total of 130 pounds, over half way to my goal. Now that I know I can do it, there's no stopping me!
