I have been down the weight-loss journey several times during my life. But what is past is just that, it’s past. This is now...and for the benefit of my future health and well-being I am willing to go forward on yet another weight-loss journey, looking back only to learn from and correct the mistakes I have made in the past.
I think Sparks plays an important part, especially with tracking food and exercise. Tracking makes it easy to know just where you stand at the end of the day. Reporting makes ME accountable.
My hubby is very supportive, but he has been thin all his life, so there are some aspects of this that he just doesn't get. No one knows what struggles an overweight person has unless they have actually experienced it themselves. He is wonderful, he has NEVER criticized me because of my weight, and he has always been there to encourage me. He thinks I can do anything, and I love him for that. So I would like to do this as much for him as for myself.
I will succeed!

My Program:
Reach my goal
1. By eating better...more whole grains, fruits and veggies.
2. By exercising 5 day a week.
3. By continuing to learn about healthy diet and exercise.
4. By allowing occasional missteps in the plan, but always moving forward.
5. By Thinking Positive!

Personal Information:
I live in the great Pacific Northwest, away from all the traffic and noise of the big city. The nearest freeway is about 90 miles away. I used to be a big city girl, but now I’m just an old country gal and I love it.
