Two Challenges this fall! The Black Panther Biggest Loser Team and the Weight Warriors 5% Challenge Teams!
Determined to do it this time. One day at a time! Going to live my golden years in my best health yet!
I'm an American English teacher living in China for many years. I love writing, volunteer work, and kids. The pounds have crept up over the years and now that I am getting older I want my final years to be healthy, happy, and active. I have a long-term vision for building health, and over the next year plan to get to a good healthy weight, build strength through exercise and increase my energy.
i joined the summer challenge 5% team to get he scale moving, as it has been stuck for a bit. Will ramp up the exercise and have moved my calories from 1500 to 1400.

My Goals:
Weight loss goal - 60 pounds from my starting weight. Lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. Improving balance, flexibility, muscle mass and endurance.
My Program:
Keeping below 1400 calories per day. Doing strength training and cardio several times each week as well as walking daily.. Walking to work as much as possible. Whole foods as much as possible. Healthy eating, avoiding sugar and refined carbs. Good proteins and a variety of healthy foods.
