Starting over is behind me! Reflections of how I once was will propel me forward into the person I want to be. For me, weight loss is only one component of my journey, I want so much more than that. I want to live a healthy fulfilling life so that my actions are God like and that everyone sees GOD in me. I am praying to God for guidance, focus, perseverance and motivation not just in times of weakest but all times. I am only looking FORWARD with a POSITIVE attitude. Losing weight will provide me a better quality of life. It will provide me the opportunity to have knee replacement surgery, decrease meds, increased self esteem and a healthier role model for my family and love ones. I would love it if you would come along and offer me encouragement, knowledge and wisdom. Better yet why don't you begin your own journey and we can support each other along the way. My Goals:
Is to lose 1-2 lbs weekly by following My outlined plan. Fruit/veggies, protein, fat and fiber will become my best friends. I will fight sodium eat step along the way. I will adjust calories when needed to continue weight loss.
I am committed to eating every 31/2 - 4hrs apart and drinking 8+ water/daily.

These dates will be updated as each goal is met.

***when I last weighted 178 family was concerned and didn't want me to lose any more weight. Therefore I will make decision as I get closer to 178 regarding goal weight.

My Program:
Plan meals ahead /make
healthier choices
Look for ways to increase activity
Check portion sizes
Strength train
Weigh once weekly
Make realistic weight goals
Curb late night snacks (junk)
When dining out eat an apple and select entree before arriving.
Eat whole grain/fiber, Stay w/in caloric range, Monitor salt And ALWAYS keep visual of goal in head (the shorts on closet door).
Every few months reaffirm commitment to program.
