Found out in August 2007 that I have Type 2 Diabetes. That was the shock that got me motivated. I am now at the gym 5 days a week when it opens. Love getting the exercise done first thing in the morning. Still also loving yoga. Off both of my medications and feeling stronger than I have in a very long time.

Reached lifetime at WW on December 5. I have never made lifetime let alone weighed in under my goal for 8 months. Certainly isn't easy, but I am holding my own and pretty proud of that. I am at lifetime to stay especially because I love shopping and buying clothes of my choice, not because they are the only ones that fit. Oh and the health benefits are important as well.

My Goals:
My immediate goal is for my weight to not start with a 2.--THRILLED TO SAY THAT OCCURED ON SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2008.

My next goal is to reach 100 pounds lost. Reached this goal on Saturday, September 6, 2008.

Next goal is 185 by October 4. Reached my goal on 9/20/08.

Next is to go on two week vacation to Hawaii on 10/4/08, exercise everyday and not gain any weight. Did exercise every day. Did gain 8.6 lbs in 12 days. (Enjoyed every bite that added the pounds with no regrets). By the way, my husband lost 8 pounds because of all the walking (he doesn't normally exercise). 12 days to gain 8.6 pounds and 6 weeks to finally lose it. It was still worth it.

Can't believe it but 11.8 pounds to my goal. My doctor has other thoughts on my goal, but that is another story. 7/09 - Starting to think my doctor is right. We will see.

My ultimate goal is to maintain, maintain, maintain my goal weight.

There is NO GOING BACK THIS TIME.


My Program:
Started out with a nutritionist to get my blood sugers stablized. Needed more frequent support so joined Weight Wathchers. This was all before found out about Spark People.

Happily married (most days) for 12 years with one furry child, my yellow lab Goldie.
