Thanks for your comment on the blog about my brother's amputations. He is doing really well, healing well, and with really good spirits. He was even able to joke around a little about prosthetics (being able to choose his new height or getting hydrolics so that he could easily change light bulbs). Thanks again for your concern. My friend LONGWINDINGROAD and I are actually going to be doing the Flying Pig half as out FIRST half marathon! I'm super excited to do it. I was even more exited when she found that there was a spark team for it! It's always nice to talk to people who have run it before, and you are a serious motivator! I've done a bunch of 5Ks, 10Ks, and 5mile races, but I'm ready to step it up and run my first half! Do you have any suggestions for a good half training schedule?? 3688 days ago
