Just the left foot. I was great for about 2 years, then it started to hurt again. Doc said probably scar tissue. Tried 2 cortisone shots, worked for a bit. He said options are basically orthotic or surgery again. I'm opting for orthotic for now.

Thanks for responding with info on Morton's neuroma.

Can you tell me more about your experience? One foot, both feet? Do you know the cause? I have read good things about surgical success. I am trying other things first, have been to my doctor, have had x-rays to rule out broken bones or arthritis (both negative), am scheduled for a soft tissue scan, but that will be in September (sigh the medical system is slow for non-urgent care) and am trying to think what to do and how to not cause permanent damage. My right foot has MN, my left foot is fine. I had something similar about 3 years ago with the same foot, and also had a soft tissue scan scheduled for many months after I saw the doctor and it got better before the scan appointment and in addition I forgot about the scan appointment so I didn't get any soft tissue damage information at that time. Maybe if I rest the foot, it will get better like last time, and then I will just be careful about how much pressure I put on the foot. Any more information about your experience would be very much appreciated !!

I see you are new to Spark - Best wishes for a wonderful experience.
