As 2015 comes to a close, I find myself in the same spot...20 pounds overweight and little motivation. One thing has changed though. My location. That move brings new opportunities, an awesome metro park and a state of the are recreation center. 2016 MUST be the year it all changes.

To say it's been a struggle up to now is an understatement! Enough with the pity party for me. Enough with the "OMG, every bone in my body aches too much to exercise" excuse. Enough with the overeating at every meal "because I love food too much" excuse. It's time to put that all behind me. I know what I have to do to get to where I want to be. From here forward I will eat the right foods in the proper portions sizes. I will make time to exercise daily, even if it's 15 minutes. (although I will strive for 30 to 45 daily. I will make every effort to not put myself down so much, like I do daily.

I know I can do it! I have a great network of Sparkfriends who will see me succeed!

trying to eat healthy, exercise more and drink more water

strength training 3x a week
cardio - a mix of the treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, and walking out side when weather permits 5 to 6 days a week

I'm a 50 something year old living in Strongsville, OH. I'm a wife and a mom to a 4 legged furry dog. Love to travel, bike, hike, try new foods and I enjoy a nice glass of red wine and a margarita!
