Although I have technically been a member since 2011 I really only started SPARKING in 2018. In 2011, I joined just to see what SP was all about and, like an idiot, I thought I don't need this. I can do it on my own. Well 7 years later and a good 25 pounds more I realized I can't. So I pulled up my old spark account (I have no idea how I remembered my user ID and password) and I am happy to say I am down 50 pounds to date. The hardest part was admitting I needed help.

Fitness Minutes: 26,345

My Goals:
Short term weight goal is to be at 200 pounds by Christmas (total loss of 65 pounds for 2018)
Goal for 2019 - lose another 40 pounds in the year (160 by Holidays 2019)
Goal for 2020 - lose my final 20 pounds (140 by holiday 2020)

I will get to a healthy weight, have a healthy and active mind and body

Bucket List for the remainder of 2018
Learn to make healthy life style choices throughout my journey (increase fiber, add fruits/veggies long term)
Increase intentional exercise to 40 minutes 5x per week (Sept/Oct)
Increase intentional exercise to 45 minutes 5x per week (Nov & Dec)
Never forget where I started and the progress I have made. Be happy with my choices; have no regrets and live more HappyDaz

Vacation in every state of the US
Visit every national park in the US
Cruise through the Panama Canal
Cruise down the Rhine river
Learn to play Bridge
Learn to Knit and or Crochet

My Program:
Make a lifestyle change. I am not dieting but making a significant life change to acheive the goals I have put in front of me.

Personal Information:
I am a 15 year cancer survivor. I can honestly say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I suffer from lower back pain, sciatica and hip issues. Back injections are for the birds so I decided to take matters in my own hands and try alternative methods researched on line. So far so good.

I realize I am in control of how my day turns out. I choose to make each and every day count. As the day stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped, I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping. What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what kind of day I will have and I do it each and every day!
