Holidays are coming! Here are some tips to help you “maintain” when temptation strikes: 1. Eat something small and healthy before the “big meal”. 2. Exercise every day – even the holiday. Take the family with you. 3. It’s ok to have dessert, but only a SMALL one. 4. Track what you eat. If you have to put it in writing and be accountable, you’ll be less tempted to overeat. 5. Downsize your portions – especially of the high-calorie dishes. 6. Save calories for food you love and don’t eat the things you don’t “LOVE” just because they’re there or because it’s tradition. 7. Spend more time talking with your loved ones and friends instead of eating.
"Imagine that day, when you can finally say, 'I never gave up. I never quit.' Imagine the day when you win a gold medal or reach your goal weight. Imagine these moments of pain as mere memories. It might take a long time to reach that moment, but as soon as you get there, you'll thank yourself for the rest of your life." (Unknown)

“We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them.” (Unknown)
