Hi SUPERGIRL-SUPERMOM I AM BACK. I bought a Spark tracker about a week ago and I am getting motivated again. I have maintained my weight around 240-245 for the last 5 years. My health is good. How are you doing and how is your child? Your Spark friend, Bob 2661 days ago

Hi Heather, Thanks for the comment about my SP points on the Bonus Wheel. It has been over 4 years since we have bee SP friends. Time flies doesn't it. This is my birthday month and I will turn 73 on the 21st. My wife and I have been blessed with good health. We have enjoyed our retirement since 2001. We are looking forward to our 30th anniversary this year on August 6th.

Congratulations!!! I didn't even know... I've been MIA for so long. I am the last person to ask about fitting in workouts. It took me FOREVER to figure that out! He didn't start sleeping really well and consistently until 14 months, so it was a lot of sporadic runs with the jogging stroller or long walks on the weekends. My husband and I recently started getting up at 5:15am to work out. I have never in my life been a morning workout person, but it's the only place we can fit it in. We do videos in our basement (P90X) while the baby sleeps. I just could not get to this point while he wasn't sleeping well. I needed all I could get of my own sleep. Give yourself time and do what you can, when you can... but don't worry about it too much. Your baby is still so small and everything will come together down the road. Hang in there! Congrats again! 3233 days ago

Thank you so much for your kind words and for your support.Congratulations on your baby news!! That's awesome!
I get a training plan and think, Oh I *can* do more, go further, run faster.....and then here comes the pain. I take a few weeks off, I moan and groan, I start over and then I'm back where I started.
I *have* to trust the training plan rather than my thoughts of how slow I am and how much faster I can go. Can and Should are two things I need to discard from my thoughts!
In yet another article I read this week it said folks like me should take extra days off. So my run weeks should look like this:
Monday, Thursday, Sunday Wednesday, Saturday, Tuesday Friday, Monday, Thursday 30 minutes max - eventually I can add milage but not until I'm doing this comfortably and without pain.
I'll do this and ride my bike and use the elliptical until I can run again. Running is a lifetime sport....I have a lifetime to do it! :D
