A little bit about me.


Hi everyone, I'm married with 3 grown up children: one married with a little boy and a brand new baby girl, one engaged to be married with a little boy and baby girl and one living with his girlfriend.

I put on about 4 stones over the last 7 years ago and I am still trying to get rid of it.. It is proving harder than I thought to stay on track and I seem to be going 2 steps forward and 1 step back. I've taken part in a few challenges in the past and have had a couple of years ...

I've taken part in a few challenges in the past and have had a couple of years off - still in touch with some of my original SP buddies though.

My Goals:
I want to lose at least 30lb and be a lot healthier but10lb this spring would be a great start.

My Program:
 I am trying to stick to the calories given me and to do most of the exercise.

During the Coronavirus lockdown I have begun exercising 50 minutes most days, walking for 30 minutes and gentle aerobics for 20. It's still tough and I can feel how unfit I am.

My fitbit is a life-saver and I wear it everywhere.

I still like the Rosemary Conley approach to diet and exercise as it worked well for me in the past so this is how I intend proceeding. Reducing portion size is one of my main aims.

I live in the UK

Other Information:
 I adore my family, reading, raising chickens and gardening. I help to run a choir. Oh, and I love socialising!

    We had the rain from Sunday thru Tuesday, but we also needed it. I have a friend who lives in CA and she's ALWAYS SO UPSET when it rains. Hmmmm she lives in the area that has had severe fires (near the Paradise area) in the past, I tell her it's NOT RAIN it's LIQUID GOLD. LOL I call her "My SPOILED little California BRAT Friend". She won't even drive when it rains, living in Maine if I didn't drive when it wasn't totally sunny I'd be inside 99.9% of the time. Today though it's super nice!! It's 82 and sunny!! My cat is in her bed in the sunshine enjoying it. I had taken my GGS outside, and wore him out!! LOLOLOL It's been 2 hours he's been sleeping he should wake up perhaps in an hour. I'll feed him etc and OUT we'l go again. He LOVES the outdoors as much as I do!! SO SWEET!! He's 3.

    Hope you are enjoying getting ready with us!! WOOHOO in 1 day and some hours OFF WE GO!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!! Remember to not over do it please. I do push myself but not the point of injury. I NEEDED to LEARN that, but finally I have.

    OOPS My BAD!! Is Cheririddell a Scarlet Dragon? She's on the 5% on the Dawg team as their WL. I was on the Dawg team, before coming over to the Awesome A team.

    It's been raining most of the day, but we really needed it. We were in a moderate drought so this will surely help us. Of course, not all areas got as much (We had 2.5 inches) but 45 mins to our south they only got .6 which is sad since we are the city, and most of that area tends to more farms.
