Introduction Text God brought me to this place... he wants me to be healthy... not to prove that I can do it, but to show that through Him I can do anything, even beat temptation to sit around and eat unhealthy foods; depression and Emotional Eating. He can do it in me, and I can be the healthy woman he made me to be. MY BREATH PRAYERS: "Bread of life, be LORD over my eating." "Lord of the Dance, inspire me to MOVE!" "Faithful God, provide a way out from temptation". I'm using this space to collect as many bible verses and passages to inspire me to keep healthy as I can and to give me strength for the journey. If you can think of any more, please suggest them in my comments! Also, feel free to make use of these in your own journey! WHAT WE LOOK FORWARD TO IN ETERNITY: Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2 ESV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 ESV) Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. (Hebrews 4:15 - THE MESSAGE) I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 Corinthians 6:19. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5 ESV) Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19 ESV) The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Revelation 3:21 ESV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV) The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. (Zephaniah 3:17 ESV) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. (Ephesians 6:10 ESV) No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV)  But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV) No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. To be a healthy me.

Without God I can do none of this, so refocusing on him is constantly important. I aim to exercise AND eat healthy, and to just keep getting back up and carrying on when I seem to 'veer off'. I am doing this slowly, but very surely.

I'm a british MK who grew up in Chile. I'm 31 years old, and I have a fantastic husband (neilinuk) and two gorgeous little girls called Lily and Rosalie.
