My body is a Ford. It takes me to places. I need to maintain it though it is not who I am. It is a vehicle, a means of transportation. Like in MIB (Men In Black) where the big guy is really a very small guy in the head of a human form transporter.

Stephen Hawking, Sam Walton and Fred Smith are examples of the fact that our mode of ambulation is not our identity. A wheel chair takes Hawking through out the universes, an old pick-up truck delivered Walton to Wal-Mart and breakfastwithfred.com allows Smith to mentor people around the world.
You are not the vehicle in which you travel through this time and place, you are who you have chosen to become. At this moment you are deciding your future self. Who will you be?

My Goals:
Live for Christ, Love my wife, Example for my boys, Serve others, Learning to listen
Short term goals: Back hand-spring, Learning to live with Gout (losing weight, lots of water and controlling diet), Adopting children, Speaking Mandrin, Writing a book and obtaining Ph.D.
My Program:
Scripture reading and prayer, saying, "I do" over and again, watching my focus, meeting the needs of others and continuous reading, learning and doing.
M-W-F Workout (30 minutes): Hindu push-ups, Handstand push-ups, Bridging, Hindu squats (Combat Conditioning by Matt Furey); Breathing exercises 1,2&3 (Farmer Burns); Jump rope
T-Th-S Work-out (30 minutes): Leg Dynamics (TFT by Tim Larkin); Breathing exercise 4 (Farmer Burns); Alligator walk, Roll-out, Hip-ups, Handstand Press (Power Wheel by Jon Hinds), Extended Plank; Pull-ups, Jump rope, Sprints
Sunday: Rest or make-up day
Personal Information:
My story is simple and started more than two decades ago. One of the first fires of my career I found myself sitting on the top of a burning house without the strength or energy to get off. I realized the other guys were going to have to carry me down or burn the house out from under me. Decision point: Get in shape or get another career.
The key to physical wellness and fitness seems to be consistency in a few areas of lifestyle; Do's, Don'ts and Limits.
Do's: Get out of bed, simple daily work-out you can perform anywhere, drink a lot of water, be active, eat many small meals, record caloric intake, flee temptation
Don'ts: Lay in bed, smoke, do alcohol or drugs, eat unconsciously, buy the gym mentality, toy with temptation. Limit: Sedentary activities like television, computer, Dominoes
See: Combat Conditioning (Furey); Wrestling and Physical Culture (Farmer) Burns; Target Focus Training (Larkin); Monkey Bar Gym (Hinds).
