Introduction Text My journey on weight-loss didn't happen to me until I was 30 in 2007! I am now 37. In 2007 I had given birth to my second daughter, Emma (7 years old). My oldest daughter Kathleen is 19 and a college student! Yes I know big age gap, but God knew what he was doing, I would have gone crazy when Kat went off to college without Emma!

Well my goal is to stay focused on getting healthy. I tended before to stop everything when I lost 10-15 lbs. Then just to gain it all back and maybe a little more. So my main goal is to stay focused and on track.

Eat healthy, limit soda, limit sugar, add more water!!! Keep moving, keep walking, keep stretching, keep running!

My name is Heather. I am a born again Christian! I am married to my high school sweetheart, Joe. Like I said before I have 2 awesome girls!! In 2012 I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It slowed me down but not much. I was an avid runner before. I have run 11 races and was getting ready to start training for a half when I was diagnosed. I am on all kinds of medicine which I hate and tried to do clean eating no meds. But I had the worst flare up I had ever had about 3 months into my change. I am back on meds and healthy eating and a healthy workout for me and my RA! I still run just not as hardcore as I had. RA does not define me!!! I refuse to let it change me completely. I work at a retirement home and love it. I am a part time cook. I am also a part time resident associate. Which helps the elderly in assisting them with daily living. We have 35 residents. Its fun and challenging!
