Introduction Text Hi, I'm Nancy. I have been with Spark People for a while but didn't really start using the site seriously until a year ago. I have made improvements this year in fitness and eating. I want to continue to make improvements a little at time. See my collection of Just Do It blogs. Adding healthy practices has been more successful than taking things away. I have a wonderful, supportive husband and 3 great kids. They are moving on to various stages of college and jobs, so I am discovering how life works with an empty nest. What better time to make some changes and improvements for myself. I teach special education. When I am not doing that I love to hike in the Georgia Mountains. I also love water and I will swim whenever I get the chance. My goal is to loose the weight I need to loose to stay healthy and active so I can keep hiking with my DH and have the energy and physical ability to enjoy things in life.
