I just saw your comment on the hoop team about selling your hoop. I don't know if I'm too late, but I want to encourage you not to give up. We all have times when we feel clumsy, but the only way to get over that feeling is to keep trying. They usually say in the classes that if your hoop is dropping that is a sign of success because it means you are challenging yourself. Don't be too hard on yourself.
I've heard it said that 90% of the difference between beginner dancers (in any dance) and advanced dancers is determination and the amount of time they are willing to put into it. Natural ability has little to do with it.
I hope you'll keep going with it because it is very rewarding. Before you know it, you'll have accomplished more than you would have expected. :-) 4045 days ago
