"Your body hears everything your mind says....stay positive."
Today is a great day to get back on track. Slipups are normal and they don't mean failure. Instead of beating yourself up for your mistakes tell yourself that one error doesn't mean much. Don't wait until tomorrow, next week or next month to get back on track.....start right away, this very minute. Put your mistakes in the past and move forward. Even the most successful people in the world makes mistakes.
If someone says IT CAN NEVER BE DONE, don't believe a word of it. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS and GOALS.

Just a bit about myself. I am a wife to my husband of 50 years. I have two wonderful and thoughtful children, a daughter and a son, which each has given us a total of 3 wonderful, smart and talented grandchildren. (2 girls and 1 boy). It doesn't end there. We also have some grandpuppies. Two have moved on to Rainbow Ridge. (Max and Johnas). We have 3 that are well and barking. 2 Westies (Toby and Charlie) They are active and very barky. Last but not least there is 1 German Shepard (Reese) who is the sweetest and most gentle girl ever.

I am retired after working in the School System as Early Childhood Educator working with children of various abilities such as Smallpeople, hearing impaired, ADHD and other challenges. There was not one child that didn't pull at my heart strings.

With the encouragement of my daughter and her family. I was able to train and complete my first half marathon before my 61st Birthday. I still do several half marathons a year (but they are on my elliptical machine. I do like to do 10K and 5K races for special events that we have in town.

Slow and easy wins the race. The only person I have to race against is ME, MYSELF and I.

It Couldn’t Be Done...........By Edgar Albert Guest

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it;”
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat
And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure,
There are thousands to point out to you one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing
That “cannot be done,” and you’ll do it.

Don't You Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It might be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Just a poem I like....

A clothesline was a news
To neighbors passing by,
There were no secrets you could
When clothes were hung to dry.

It also was a friendly link
neighbors always knew,
If company had stopped on by
To spend a night or

For then you'd see the "fancy sheets"
And towels upon the
You'd see the "company table cloths"
With intricate

The line announced a baby's birth
From folks who lived inside
As brand new infant clothes were hung,
So carefully with

The ages of the children could
So readily be known
watching how the sizes changed,
You'd know how much they'd grown!

also told when illness struck,
As extra sheets were hung;
nightclothes, and a bathrobe, too,
Haphazardly were strung.

It also
said, "Gone on vacation now"
When lines hung limp and bare.
It told,

"We're back!" when full lines sagged,

With not an inch to spare!
folks in town were scorned upon
If wash was dingy and gray,
As neighbors
carefully raised their brows,
And looked the other way.

clotheslines now are of the past,
For dryers make work much less.
Now what
goes on inside a home
Is anybody's guess!

I really miss that way of

It was a friendly sign.

When neighbors knew each other

By what hung on the line.

    Stay positive..some of your best days haven't happened yet.

    Stay positive...The things you're waiting and hoping for
    tend to arrive at the most unexpected time.

    Stay positive...and the ups will be more frequent than the downs.

    Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.

    Asking a quiet person to talk more is like asking a noisy person to be quiet.
    You are who you are...and people need to learn to accept you that way.
