A Healthier Weight
My journey to lose weight & improve my health!
My biggest motivation is to be healthy for my family... my husband and our daughters. I want to be a mom who can go on hikes at the state park and do all the fun stuff that right now I'm afraid I'll miss out on!
Never again do I want to have to sit out of a ride because, "Sorry, we can't get the restraint securely fastened." I want to be there for my girls for as long as I possibly can and have as many ...

As several of my teams have new challenges starting up, I want to use those opportunities to really jump start and then maintain a journey to that healthier weight!

Get under 250.
Long term:
Reach goal of 170. When I get there, I'll re-evaluate with my doctor's advice.
My Program:
It's funny that this has been here for years and I've never filled it in. I am going to start back on the diabetic-type diet that my doctor gave me right before I found out I was pregnant with Samantha. My body seemed to really like it. For exercise, I'm going to pick a DVD for the week and do it at least 4 times. I have so many DVDs at home that this could easily take me through September. And working at the library makes it easy to get more for free.
