    We are so close to our cruise I can hardly contain myself :)
    and it looks like we are both getting some weight loss, finally!

    For the last few days before the cruise I am going to cut my meals in half, I may not lose a ton of weight but at least I will have shrunk my stomach from eating less. This will make overeating on the cruise a bit less likely.

    So how are you doing, I keep bouncing from 146.5 to 149 and back? what is going on??? I am so confused. I weighed in to day cause yesterday was 149 and I couldn't wait till Friday to weigh in again LOL I just had to make sure I was going down not UP!

    I finally went down, 148.5.
    I am walking daily, which I did before but would do short "very short" walks sometimes. But with Roans point system and a free trip to D-land as a potential prize on the line, well, I seem a little more motivated :) This is the week I give up coffee, not caffeine completely cause I do not want a migraine :( My caffeine fix will hopefully be satisfied with green tea. emoticon
    PS that Woo Hoo was for you too. We are getting there!

    Sounds like a good plan Sharla,
    I weighed in today because it is Friday the day I decided. I know I weighed in yesterday so today's weight is a shocking 149 :) same as yesterday. Imagine that. LOL
    Joy and I have been put on the "Roan Point Plan"
    Basically it is this simple (save calories and money)
    eating out= 1 point
    desert=1 point
    Beer=1point
    glass of wine or shot= 1/2 point
    We can only have 3 points a week.
    to lose points:
    20 minutes of workout (heart pumping) -1 point
    1 mile walked/jogged or ran -1 point
    busy all day and no TV after 5 pm -1/2 point
    ** If Joy, Roan, and I end the week with zero points for 4 consecutive weeks we get a prize :)
    Basically if we are going to drink or have a desert or go out to eat we must earn it with exercise.
    I will keep you up on how it works out.
    We are a lot more sedentary than you are so for it to work for you, you might have to adjust the points?

    Hey baby girl, 7 weeks and we are going Cruising :) So reality here now, that could equal (@ 1.5 to 2 pounds per week) a 10 - 14 pounds of weight lost. Lets do it. Once Teri told me she just cut everything in half that she ate, she lost major weight. Sounds like no fun but I will try.
    Come on we can do it. Any weight lost is good and lets celebrate no gain weigh-in's too.
    I am going to check in twice a week now until we get on the boat.
    I am so excited
