Yes, I am in my 60's but the illustration on the left still describes me, Wild Heart Gypsy Soul. I know I don't look it anymore. Still me and trying to be the best ME I can be!

I got rid of all the updates on this page, they went back to 2014! What a journey! In the 10+ years on Sparkpeople, I have been up and down in my health. We thought I had a stroke in 2012, thankfully not. Stress can cause garbled thoughts and words and I had it in spades. That year I was in the hospital 3 times, finally decided it was my job and had to resign.
Then in 2017, I had an adrenal gland removed. That was also a lot to deal with before and after. I won't go into the function of the adrenal gland.

Over this last ten years I have lost 35 pounds and gained it back, again last year. However in 2018, I have lost 12 pounds in 12 weeks and plan to continue. I have a way to go. Update: I have now lost 16 pounds since October.

My health is improved. I plan to be around a long time.

I have a husband whose job is driving him crazy, only 2 years to go for retirement. I worry about him. He worries about his parents. One is in a nursing home and one lives out in the country. She needs to transition, but will not.

I am trying to figure out what crafts to make that will earn me some money from home. I have not yet figured it out. Hopefully soon. It would be a help to my husband and help us do things like have more vacations! Update: I have it figured out... partly! Posted some things on Facebook and they are selling.

Finding a craft I can make that will sell.

Eating a balanced diet, with carbs being only complex carbs, avoiding sugar, except on occasions and walking.

    It’s cold outside, but Spring is coming! Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of March. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.
