I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

I'm on FB but I don't accept many Friend Requests - I am not interested in the numbers, but only want to keep in touch with those I know.

People with 1,000+ friends have no idea who anyone is. I can't understand that at all. I'm more comfortable with my 2 dozen friends.

Since I mostly eat the same foods daily, keeping the Nutrition Pages will work well for me; it allows me to see how I am meeting my nutritional needs as well as the calories.

Well, that’s a few zucchinis down. Nice that you got a baby visit. I’ll let you know how my mango bread turns out.

I just finished a Kindle Unlimited book you might like. A Harvest of Years: My Story 1876 and Onward is an autobiography by Iva Wilson, much of it in Iowa, some in the Dakotas, and much in Idaho. I read the whole thing this afternoon. Lots of history and stories.

Husband is cutting up some mangoes for me to try mango bread tomorrow using my strawberry bread recipe. I think it’ll work.

Ugh, knee plus dizzies is just too much. Hope the kitties appear and give you a good lap snuggle. Lucky you that son can visit. It’s almost two years since we’ve seen daughters in person; thanks be for zoom, something I never thought I’d say. When I was little and the Florida state fair much smaller, I enjoyed watching demolition derbies with my dad.
