I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Haven't heard from you since your boys' visit. Hopefully, they didn't drop off any extra covid virus on you from their States. emoticon emoticon

Thanks for the blog love on my pile of yarn. I wish Spark would have allowed the video! It is a natural colored fleece. The wool is a Romeldale/CVM cross. CVM is California Varigated Mutant. It started out as a surprise colored sheep on a California ranch and then was bred to be a stable breed.

Whatever the reason, it’s great that you get to see all your sons. Hope your head hasn’t kept you down too much. Your Florida sun needs refreshing: emoticon emoticon emoticon

I know your kids are there for a hard reason, but so glad you have them with you for a bit. The missions can wait a bit. 💟

Thanks for the hat blog love. I should change my photo as I am now back to gray - we cannot figure how to return the color and wear a mask.

This one was easy to change because every second row was a purl row so for me every second row is a knit one. Then I had to decrease by one stitch (the one for the seam) and everything was good.

I love knitting with yarn that changes color as you knit. It keeps me interested.
