I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Thanks for your comment, Yes, we had a german shepard husky mix when I was growing up and there was nothing more irresistible to him than a warm chicken dinner walking by. When the chickens were out, he had to be kept in. And because he was a very determined boy, his run had an electric fence around it so that if he set out to pursue a live chicken he would receive a shocking experience! Somehow there were still a few chicken fatalities due to his chicken dinner addiction, but for the most part the fence was effective.

The idea of Plastic Free July isn't to avoid all plastic; it's to cut down on single-use plastic such as straws and plastic water bottles.

Yes, yes, some sort of vacation even if it’s just a day off. Once I finish the retirement papers and Medicare stuff, I may do just that. I’m going to bed.
