I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

My name is Linda, I am 75 year old, or as I say 60-15. I am married to my very best friend, and a retired farmers wife, so I have worn a verity of hat. I have 3 grown sons, none who live near, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

I love to read, favorite writers are Steven King, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, James Patterson, etc. I also like crossword puzzles, zig saw puzzles, gardening, and anything outside. Thanks for stopping by my blog low carb Buttercream Frosting (which goes beautifully with my low carb Brownies). I could try to explain Powdered erythritol (which is Swerve the brand name I use for baking), but it'd be best to Google it so you can get an unbiased overview of the product. For most everything else aside from baking, I use Stevia which I have grown in my garden.

emoticon emoticon Oh yeah, those ARE all things I should be doing anyway! But it’s harder to stay on the straight and narrow when you feel good.

Friend, we are on the same page. I’ve just gotten up from my after work nap, a bath and a book are definitely in the evening’s plans, and I just edited my MISSIONS to reflect that. Believe me, I’m doing my best to heed your excellent advice.
