Say hello to your neighbors. Tell the kid at the grocers, "It will get better," or "he's doing a good job!" Share your smile with a stranger... and who knows how many times that "one" smile will be passed along to others. Say something kind and meaningful to someone, lend a helping hand when you can, give when you can! And always remember to count your own blessings!
If you are feeling down or alone~ remember that GOD loves YOU just the way you are--no matter what!
PEACE my friend.
Joy to the World! Share Your Spark! Spark On!

Just because you stumble doesn't mean you have to fall.
"Happiness comes one moment at a time."
"It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere."
"The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what we want most for what we want now."
"People too weak to follow their own dreams, will find a way to discourage yours."
"The true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good."
"Justification and Rationalization are only mental masturbation's--in the end you only screw yourself."
"Gluttony is an emotional escape, a sign that something is Eating AT us."
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
"Being defeated is often temporary, giving up makes it permanent."
"When the world says, "Give up" Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought."

"Do you live in tomorrow when you must face today? At times, I forget to live in the moment, but what do I miss? The setting sun, the sound of birds' singing and, most importantly, I miss meeting myself. I am constantly changing, and if I don't spend time with myself in the here and now, I will never get to appreciate who I truly am because I am too busy focusing on who I want to be."
-Gary Barnes(done)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
-- Marianne Williamson

Choices
Some people sit, some people try;
Some people laugh, some people cry;
Some people will, some people won't;
Some people do, some people don't.
Some people believe, and develop a plan;
Some people doubt, never think that they can;
Some people face hurdles and give it their best;
Some people back down when faced with a test.
Some people complain of their miserable lot;
Some people are thankful for all that they've got;
And when it’s all over, when it comes to an end;
Some people lose out, and some people win.
We all have a choice, we all have a say;
We are spectators in life, or we get in and play;
Whichever we choose, how we handle life’s game;
The choices are ours, no one else is to blame.

HELLO, DO YOU KNOW ME?
Hello, do you know me?
If you don't, you should.
I'm a pound of fat. And I'm the HAPPIEST pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why?
It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound! Everyone wants to lose 3 pounds, 5 pounds, or 15 pounds, but never only 1. So I just stick around and happily keep you fat.
Then I add to myself, every so slyly, so that you never seem to notice it. That is, until I've grown to 10, 20, 30 or even more pounds in weight. Yes, it is FUN being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT, Left to do as I please. So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying,
"Oh, I only lost one pound." (As if that were such a terrible thing.) For you see, if you do this, you encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm just not worth the effort.

My Goals:
My long term goal is to weigh between 135-140 lbs.
I want to stay active and remain as healthy as possible.
I need to lower my blood pressure and cholesterol. Get off those meds!
I need to take care of me. I really do enjoy the feeling I get from exercise. It gives me time for reflection and just to "be." It's one of the most powerful things I do for myself! When it comes to food, I need to learn how to stop the "all or nothing" way of thinking when the "I'll just have one" becomes two. To stop beating myself up. I want to be the best I can be.
My Program:
Exercise and Water
Not a lot of Junk.
Eat Breakfast!
Personal Information:
I call myself INDIANAGIRL because that's where I was born. I live in Nebraska. I have been married 18years and have a 16 yr. old son.
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis (It is an auto immune disease)in 05. I have gone through lots of medicine changes and weight changes. To get control of pain and other symptoms. I have had bouts of chronic fatigue and depression. In 09 I started Humira shots and it is working. I believe water and exercise are the best medicine for the mind, body, spirit!
For the past 5 years I have stayed at home full time and cared for my motherin-law. She had two strokes and could no longer take care of her self..so I said she could live with us! I love her! But,it was very hard learning to live with her especially as her caretaker. Not DDIL! April 25 2011 we placed her in a nursing home. That was also hard. I am learning to live again. It's not easy going back into "the world" 6 years later. I've "lost" so much of myself. I'm looking forward now.
Other Information:
I enjoy being outdoors. I vegetable and flower garden. I like camping, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming. Just sitting! I like most all music. I like reality TV shows and comedy. I like to read. I sew a little. I also make and sell jewelry. I sell candles. I have 4 dogs that give me great joy. I have a lot of interests and enjoy talking to people and learning new things.
