Well, I'm back! I lost weight, regained weight and now am trying to re-lose again. It seems like each time I start over -I become a little more deflated. I have noticed one trend this time... I may regain - however- I do not regain everything. So this time I am starting out at a lower weight... I pray that I can maintain my commitment to uncovering a healthier me! I think that I have learned quite a bit about myself along the way. Hopefully, with my new-found knowledge and commitment, and of course SparkPeople, I will be able to accomplish my goal of 160lbs!

Hello my name is Janice. When I first started my weight loss journey I had over an hundred pounds to lose. In fact, I was looking into having obesity surgery. I am now losing weight at a good healthy pace. It has been a long and tough journey but I have learned a lot about myself along the way. Hello, my name is Janice. I am trying to lose weight to improve my health, physical appearance and emotional health.. In so many words, I just want to look good and feel good about myself! I have tried many weight-loss diets and plans over the years and have become tired of failing. This is my last go at it alone, if I am not able to stick to it this time than I am looking into obesity surgery. I pray that I can take this weight off with out going that route. My Goals:
I am trying to lose weight and improve my health.

My Program:
I began on a low carb plan and lost quite a bit of weight. However, after experiencing boredom and backsliding I have now moved to a low calorie meal plan. I eat the recommended calorie count via the Spark nutrition page. I also walk on my treadmill 3 times a week and practice Bikram Yoga 3 times a week.
