Well, here I go again! As my friends here know, this is attempt #2.... I was really making progress last time, but then I went on vacation, and had a family member get quite ill after that, and weight loss just went to the bottom of my list of things-to-do. (Which is an easy slip for me....) I really regret that, because now I have to RE-LOSE the pounds that I shed the first time around.
What I love about this site is the inspiration and accountability that I feel when I am on it. I am always so proud to post when I've had a great day or lost another pound. And at the same time, when it goes the other way, there are always people rooting me on anyway, and that helps me to keep going.
So wish me luck - here I go!!!!

My Goals:
To lose weight in a healthy, fun way. To stay positive throughout this - and most importantly to prove to myself and everyone else that I CAN do this!

My Program:
I am going to do strength training exercises, walk on my treadmill, and eat appropriate portions.

Personal Information:
I am a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful children - Kendal age 4 and Sam age 8 months. My family is my life. I am 27 yrs old and used to be thin, but over the years have slowly packed on more and more weight. It makes me sad and has greatly lowered my self esteem - as shallow as that may sound. Being beautiful for myself as well as my husband is very important to me. I have decided that it is time that I take the initiative and make that happen!
