Introduction Text

My goals are to be happy and healthy. Wealthy would be pretty good too. I would like to trim down so as I can be more active and to be able to cross my legs with ease ! I'd also like to be happier with what i see in the mirror on the occasions that I have to look into one.



my name is joan, i live in newcastle, australia.. i'm 65 years old, i almost said 64, time has caught up with me again, it does that a lot lately.. i'm a retired general and midwifery nurse, but haven't worked now for about 8 years..i was terminated due to a bad back but i can do most things within reason. i am married (43 years in september) we have 4 children. 3 girls and the youngest a boy already 30. where oh where has my life gone. but i now have 3 little grandsons 8 and 5 years and a new little one at 2 months. the 2 youngest daughters have managed to produce them. i am enjoying them but they live quite a distance from me so i don't get to see them very often. my wt. has always been a "thing" with me..although looking back at old photos i wasn't too bad but always thought i was fat... really hippy anyway. since i finished work and got lazy really do have too much weight and even feel very heavy - i do have to shift it if i want to feel and look better and be healthier.
